addition to our traditional worship service, we offer a second, contemplative
worship service on the second Sunday of each month.
Administrative Assistant - Part
Time
Requirements:
-
A friendly, positive, flexible individual who has
the ability to work independently
-
Competent at problem solving, prioritizing and
communicating
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on
Microsoft Word. Knowledgeable in Data management software, Microsoft Publisher,
and ability to learn other programs as required

Work hours somewhat flexible: 20-22 hours per week
Function:
-
Provide the support needed by the Pastor, staff,
church officers, and congregation to enable the church to engage in ministry as
smoothly as possible
-
Provide a good presence for visitors and persons
in time of need as they come in contact with our church.
Major Responsibilities:

Greet visitors, answer phone and respond to emails
-
Prepare weekly bulletin and inserts in an accurate
and timely manner

Provide administrative assistance to Pastor and
Director of Christian Education and Youth

Prepare and mail documents including newsletter,
letters to the congregation and other correspondence

Maintain church database
