Project
2010 is the 12th year of our involvement Click Here to download the 2010 ASP Mission Trip Application Form Each summer we send youth and
adult volunteers to Central Appalachia for a week-long home-repair ministry with
the Appalachia Service Project, Inc., a Tennessee-based non-profit organization.
In 2009, thirty-six Pleasantville ASP volunteers prepared for the mission trip
by doing several local community service projects. During the summer we traveled
to Whitesville, West Virginia, where we spent a week repairing and rebuilding
five homes
as volunteers for ASP, Inc. Last spring, our volunteers prepared for the mission trip by:
It costs about $700 to send each volunteer to Appalachia. A big part of that cost goes to ASP, Inc., which purchases the building materials we use to repair people's homes. We’re grateful to our supporters and “shareholders” who make this mission possible!

("ASP") is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization based in Johnson City,
Tennessee. ASP relies on volunteers to help repair and rebuild homes for
