Presbyterian Women’s League

Women provide important leadership in the life of our church. Through PWL we women have the opportunity to come together as a supporting, caring community and to participate in events that nurture out faith. We are a subgroup of the national PW but we determine our own leadership, calendar of events, and budget. PWL offers opportunities for service in mission projects and the pleasures of working together.

We receive Christian nurturing at our annual brunch featuring a motivating speaker and at special programs such as those focusing on music.

Hearts and Hands meets weekly on Tuesdays to sew, knit, and crochet blankets, sweaters, and hats that are donated to local hospitals and organizations that provide care for premature babies, cancer patients, soldiers, firemen, and others.

Our annual Rummage Sale provides fellowship for the workers, needed household items and clothing for our shoppers, stewardship for our planet as usable items are reused instead of discarded, and money to support local, national, and international missions and church capital projects.

All women of the church are part of PW and are invited to be part of the activities.
